The New Protector 38' "Tauranga" Expedition Boat

OceanLines.Biz filmed this interview with Protector at the recent 2010 Newport International Boat Show, in Newport, Rhode Island. This is the first public video of the new cruising boat from Protector. The boat features a stand-up head and cozy cabin, as well as powerful, twin 350 hp outboards. On our test ride, we topped out at nearly 50 knots in 2-3 ft. seas and easily outdistanced a hardcore center console deep vee fisherman on the way out of Narragansett Bay. Read our full coverage of this new boat, with lots more photos, at www.oceanlines.biz. Special thanks to Protector and Rushton Gregory.

Tattoo Designs and Ideas For Rib Cage Tattoos

Rib cage tattoos are special and one of kind considering the pain that one has to go through to get this body art done. Since most designs done for this area are usually on a bigger scale, it normally takes more than one session to have it fully inked. The greatest thing about this is the fact that its covered much of the time which makes it an ideal spot for larger tattoos, or for tats that need to be inconspicuous.

A typical human rib cage consists of 24 bones arranged in 12 pairs and acts as protectors of the organs in the upper body. And yes, they are definitely bony areas which means more pain during tattooing with the absence of fats and tissues that supposedly serve as padding to the skin. These are just some important facts to take into consideration before jumping into this decision.

One of the hardest parts about getting a tattoo is deciding on what designs to go for. Since these are forever, you have to be sure that its what you really want. When deciding on what art or image to go for in the rib cage, you have to remember that this is a big canvas, there are ample space for your tattoo artist to work on.

If you have a principle that you live by, you can always embody it through your favorite quotation or verse. Of course, you can't always go wrong with flower tats, you can still be unique since there are hundreds of floral kinds to choose from. A lot of animal tattoos have great symbolical meaning so they are another great options. So go creative, think outside the box, use your wildest imaginations. Remember, you are getting a unique and edgy rib cage tattoos that others would not even dare so make it stand out and extraordinary.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF KELSEY SMITH BRIGGS 2002 - 2005

Kelsey Shelton Smith was born into a broken home on December 28, 2002. Kelsey's mom, Raye Dawn Smith, divorced Kelsey's dad Raymond Lance (Robinson) Briggs, before Kelsey was born. Raymond, who goes by "Lance" was born and raised with the surname of Robinson, but he change his name to his stepfathers surname - briggs - just before marrying Raye and without a legal adoption. Raye had allegedly suffered physical and emotional abuse at the hands of Lance during their two year marriage. Raye stated about the relationship "I married Raymond Lance Briggs in July of 2000, I lost my first child that month at three months due to a blow to the stomach by the fist of Lance. Other than that time he had hit on me several times leaving black eyes, a bruised rib, my hair pulled out, and a lot of my stuff throughout the house that all meant something to me he would break. He even threw my Pomeranian dog against the wall at one time. He busted my nose at the river in front of all of our friends one summer. I finally got enough of all of that and left. I went to live back with my parents. Lance a few weeks later broke into the house we lived in while we were married and broke a bathroom mirror, threw groceries all over the kitchen, threw stuff in the pond, in the creek, and plus stole some school albums..." DOCUMENTS!! The Smiths did not know what a pedophile and child abuser looks like. Do you? Mike Porter seemed to be the man of Raye Dawn's dreams. He was a good father in all outward ...

Bible Stories - God Made Man

God saw that the world He had created was beautiful and good, it was filled with living creatures, but there was no one whom He could love or who could love Him back. God loved the animals he had made and they loved Him but they are not made with living souls. The animals could not talk with God nor understand His ways.

God wanted someone to love - someone like Himself. Genesis 1:26 says, "And God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness." It was as if God the Father said this to God the Son as they worked together. So God made man as He wanted every man to be, like Himself, in His image.

As God is a Trinity, so He made man a trinity. God is a Spirit without a body. The animals have bodies without having living souls. When an animal dies that is the end of it. Man was made body, spirit and soul. Through his body he can live here on earth. Through his spirit God could live in him and take charge of him. Through his living soul he can live forever.

When a person dies, his soul leaves his body, but it does not die. It will live forever. God's own life was breathed into man's spirit. He named this first man Adam. He was created as a man, not as a little baby, for there would not have been anyone to look after him. Because God's life filled his spirit, everything he did was right and good and pure.

In all this beautiful world which God had made, Adam was the only living person. He was not alone for every day God came and talked with him. God loved Adam, and Adam loved God. Because God loved Adam so much, He knew that he must be lonely with no other human person to talk to or to love. He said, "It is not good for man to be alone. I will make a helpmate for him."

He caused Adam to fall into a very sound sleep. While he was sleeping, God took out one of his ribs, and then closed the place in his body where he had taken it from. From that rib God made a woman and brought her to Adam. She, too, was made in God's image as a living soul, with a spirit in which God's Spirit lived.

Adam must have been very pleased and happy. This was another beginning, that of marriage and the first home. This was all part of Gods plan. His Word said, "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife and they shall be one flesh." It is God's plan that a husband and wife should stay together and love each other, even more than they love their parents or any other person.

Is Biblical Joseph the Imhotep of Egypt (Famine-Savior)? (Extra-Biblical Proof!)

Joseph- and the Hebrews to Egypt

Morality lessons can be found in every episode of biblical Joseph's life: sold into slavery by brothers, angry and jealous of his braggadocio and their father's favoritism; overcomes false charges and prison by his ability to interpret dreams; rises to great personal power and authority by his administrative ability; saves Egypt, all neighboring peoples and his own family from starvation during a prolonged famine. In the process he makes Egypt extremely wealthy (during the seven lean years, when only Egypt had store-house-cities full of grain from seven prior bountiful years). The biblical story of Joseph is easily justifiable as fiction, however, there is a statue on an island in the Nile of a white-faced, non-Egyptian vizier, who saved Egypt from a devastating famine, and wall-murals depict caravans of starving desert tribesmen (from named Hebrew cities) being sold grain, both fitting perfectly with the Bible. After Joseph becomes Egypt's Vizier, with many years of famine remaining, per the Bible, he brings his father, his brothers and their entire families to Egypt. That sets the stage, centuries later, for the well-known Passover stories, with extra-biblical corroboration: Hebrew slavery; Moses (at birth) being saved from the drowning fate of male Hebrew babies; his flight from Egypt; and finally, the Exodus story, including mass deaths of Egyptians from the plagues. (Note: Other related Ezine articles: "Miracles 3500 Years Ago, Biblical Exodus - The Only Logical Explanation For 21st Century Artifacts!"; "Mystery Solved - Boy-King Tut's Magnificent Tomb - Exodus Miracles Affirmed!"; "Hebrews in Egypt - Slaves and Plagues - Extra-Biblical Proof!")

Beginning with Joseph being brought to Egypt and sold as a slave, Egyptian records correlate exactly with the Biblical episodes of Joseph's story:

  • Attempted seduction of a young man by a high official's wife, his rejection of her, her false charges and his subsequent imprisonment, then release - told in an Egyptian papyrus, dated 1225 BC. (Identical to the story of Joseph and Potiphar's wife).

  • Joseph, Vizier/Savior of Egypt. Archaeological digs along the Nile, provide an obvious and remarkable corroboration of the biblical story of Joseph. An unusual life-sized statue was found at Avaris, honoring the famed Vizier who - by Egyptian records - saved the Egyptian people from a terrible famine. The statue is of a white-faced, clean-shaven Asiatic man with unusually-shaped and red hair, (and since legend is frequently based on fact) adjacent Egyptian wall murals depict Asian caravans of the time with similarly-featured non-Egyptian men wearing "coats of many colors"!

  • Described in Papyrus #1116A in the Leningrad Museum is a mural of starving desert tribesmen seeking food from Egypt during a period of drought, "Pharaoh giving wheat to a tribe from Ashkelon, Hazor and Megiddo" (undoubtedly Hebrews from well-known cities in Israel);

  • Roman historian, Josephus, in his book, "Josephus Against Apion", quotes two Egyptian priest-scholars, Manetho and Cheremon, who, in their own histories of Egypt, specifically name Joseph and Moses as leaders of the Hebrews, that they "rejected Egypt's customs and gods .. practiced animal sacrifices (witnessed on the first Passover)" .. These historians confirm that the Jews migrated to "southern Syria" (the Egyptian name for Palestine) and that the exodus occurred during the reign of Amenophis .. during the close of the 18th dynasty, 1500 to 1400 BC.

Reading between the lines and extrapolating the text in both the Old Testament and Egyptian artifacts, there is much that can be derived.

  1. Pharaoh, whether or not normally religious, truly feared the interpretations of his dreams - seven fat sheaves and cows, followed by seven shriveled sheaves and lean cows. Probably the dreams were of a nightmarish quality - Pharaoh being unable to get relief from them, for he then instituted a remarkable fourteen year national program for survival of his country and people. The gigantic storage facility at Sakkara, with similar granary storehouse all over Egypt, indicates the scale and scope of the undertaking, storing excesses from the bountiful harvest during the first seven years.

  2. Because of the importance of the program, the person selected by Pharaoh as Vizier had to be truly second to Pharaoh in administrative authority (as both the Bible, re Joseph, and Egyptian artifacts, re Imhotep, attest) . An aspect of human nature - that during many years of bounty (seven - a long time), unless one is truly fearful of a deity and the prediction of seven years of famine, there is a natural tendency to "slack off". Joseph, son of Patriarch Jacob, would have complete faith in God's prediction, however, Egyptian power resided in Pharaoh, thus he primarily, had to believe completely and fearfully in the forthcoming years of famine - to put his country through such an ordeal of self-denial and discipline during years of plenty. Such a national program had to have been the most important in the country, and for fourteen years duration: during the years of plenty, hoarding all excess grain, building storage cities, then transporting and maintaining the surplus grain; then during the years of famine, selling off the grain and safeguarding Egypt's accumulating wealth. An enormous administrative task, clearly, the designation of Joseph/Imhotep as "Vizier, second in power to Pharaoh in all of Egypt", has to be recognized as extremely meaningful.

Digging Deeper - Joseph and Imhotep

The "deeper digging" is by Dr. Lennart Moeller in his book, "The Exodus Case". Dr. Moeller, a medical doctor at Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, is also an archaeologist, explorer, marine biologist, scuba diver, and a scholar of both Egyptian history and the Bible. It was Dr. Mueller who directed the diving expedition which discovered coral-covered clumps of chariot wreckage from Egypt's 18th dynasty in the Gulf of Aqaba (see listed Ezine articles).

Moeller refers to an inscription on the island of Sihiel, near the first cataract of the Nile, which actually links Imhotep to the key biblical element of the Joseph story - telling of Pharaoh Djoser in the 18th year of his reign. The inscription states "seven meagre years and seven rich years". Commenting on the inscription, Moeller writes, "Pharaoh Djoser asks Imhotep to help him with the coming seven years of famine. All the biblical components of the story are there, and there is a similar inscription on the island of Philae in the Nile." (This is exactly as in the Bible with Joseph, except for listing the "meagre" years before the years of plenty. Note: The famine years were, of course, the event of significance, saving everyone from starvation and bringing in much wealth to Egypt - it is noted that the manuscript was written a thousand years after the occurrences.) A carving in Sakkara shows starving people (ribs prominently outlined), also shows sacks of grain being carried up steps (as in the "silo" vaults at Sakkara), also food being distributed. In summary, Moeller says, "It should be noted that there is no other period of famine of seven plus seven years in the history of Egypt - except for the one for which Imhotep was responsible." In Egyptian records, only one person is described as having the administrative authority to organize Egypt's survival during the long famine - Imhotep. The parallel to biblical Joseph is precise and compelling. Moeller cites the large number of similarities in the lives, the accomplishments, responsibilities and characteristics of Imhotep of Egypt and Joseph of the Bible. Noting the dove-tailing of their individual stories from separate Egyptian and biblical accounts, Moeller's conclusion is that the two - most probably - were the same person, the two stories told from different viewpoints. He includes 27 comparisons of Imhotep and Joseph, many are listed below.

(Imhotep - Egyptian records); {Joseph - Bible}:

  • (Imhotep is appointed Administrator by Pharaoh Djoser during the periods of seven years famine and seven years of bountiful harvests); {Joseph is appointed Administrator to Pharaoh for the seven years of plenty then of famine};

  • (Minister to the King of Lower Egypt); {Pharaoh .. made him ruler over all the land of Egypt};

  • (Administrator of the GreatPalace); {Thou shalt be over my house};

  • (Not of royal blood; attained position by ability); {From another nation and religion, not of royal blood, attained position by ability};

  • (Not appointed by Pharaoh Djoser until he had reigned for some time); {Appointed well after Pharaoh ruled Egypt};

  • (Given the status of "son" to Pharaoh); {Granted the status of "son" to Pharaoh};

  • (High Priest in Heliopolis); {Married to Asenath, daughter of Poti-Pherah, High Priest in Heliopolis - by custom, would succeed father-in-law};

  • (Builder and architect); {Builder of grain storehouses such as at Sakkara step-pyramid};

  • (Exalted by Pharaoh Djoser as of godly character.); {"And Pharaoh said, 'a man in whom the spirit of God is!'"} ;

  • ("I need advice from God."); {Noted as saying, "It is not in me; God shall give Pharaoh an answer."};

  • (Had great medical skill - was compared to the Greek God of Healing);

  • {Had doctors under his authority - worked by miracles, dreams and signs from God};

  • (Decided the tax rate during the seven years of famine; also not to apply to priests); {Decided the tax rate during the seven years of famine; also not to apply to priests};

  • (Realizes when he is dying - dies at age 110.); {Realizes when he is dying - dies at age 110.}.

The Roman-Jewish historian, Josephus, quotes the writings of Manetho, Egyptian historian: "During [the] reign of .. Pharaoh Djoser, 3rd Egyptian dynasty, lived Imhotep .. [with a] reputation among Egyptians like the Greek God of medicine - [Manetho even wondered] whether Imhotep could have been an actual person .. [because he had] "so many outstanding qualities and talents .. a very special person [who] appears in the history of Egypt." On the foundations of the Step Pyramid in Sakkara was carved the name of Pharaoh Djoser and ".. Imhotep, Chancellor of the King of Lower Egypt, Chief under the King, Administrator of the Great Palace, Hereditary Lord, High Priest of Heliopolis, Imhotep the Builder..".

The Bible tells of Pharaoh honoring Joseph with much the same offices as given to Imhotep "It is probable that Joseph was the only person to gain Pharaoh's confidence to this degree. Joseph received every authority apart from Pharaoh himself .. [though] not of royal blood and .. [of] another nationality." (As detailed above, the same also applies to Imhotep.) In both cases there is much reference to the pharaohic announcements - "second only to Pharaoh"; the Bible also tells of Joseph being given Pharaoh's signet ring (with the royal seal), an outstanding act and undoubtedly, a national event.

A startling point is Moeller's statement about what Joseph/Imhotep achieved for Egypt, "It was during the reign of Djoser that Egypt became a great power .. great riches were accumulated during the seven years of famine .. when grain was sold to all the countries around Egypt. The complex of buildings at Sakkara is remarkably unique, nothing like it has been seen anywhere .. built of white limestone from neighboring hills." Describing the immense storage vaults at Sakkara, Moeller writes, "40,000 cubic metres storage .. remnants of grain have been found at the bottom." Egypt built a vast nation-wide system of granary-storehouses as at Sakkara, evidence of a nationwide major program to store an enormous amount of grain for an anticipated famine.

While the Bible 's story of Joseph focuses on the greater story of the Hebrew people: his father Patriarch Jacob, the brothers, the beginning of the Hebrew sojourn in Egypt, leading to their slavery, then Moses and Aaron and the miracles of the plagues and the Exodus, it is the Egyptian artifacts that tell the details of how remarkable a man was Imhotep/Joseph. Not only an exceptional administrator who built the storage cities and maintained the discipline of storing rather than dissipating the excess grain during the seven years of bounty, Imhotep was also memorialized in Egyptian history for his medical abilities - his sarcophagus was decorated with the Ibis, Egyptian symbol of medicine, and in US medical schools today there is the Imhotep Medical Society.

Final "Clincher" - that Egyptian Imhotep was the Biblical Joseph.

Extremely noteworthy regarding Imhotep-Joseph is that the mummified bodies of neither have ever been found. The known facts regarding the burials of Imhotep and Joseph also strongly support the thesis that they were the same person:

- Both died at age 108.

- Imhotep's coffin in Sakkara - with innumeral Ibis birds mummified in the adjoining galleries (Imhotep was called "Ibis" because of his reputation for healing - a large number of Ibis birds were sacrificed to him at his funeral in Sakkara); many clay vessels bearing the seal of Pharaoh Djoser were near the coffin; and the coffin is oriented to the North, not East, and is empty.

- Joseph would have been buried at Sakkara, his coffin orientated to the North - indicating he did not believe in the gods of the Egyptians (who were buried facing East, the rising sun); the coffin would also be empty as Joseph's bones would have been taken by Moses with the Hebrews during the Exodus.

Test details: The Chrysler 300 was introduced in the 2005 model year, and the Dodge Charger was introduced in the 2006 model year. Two tests of the 300 were conducted, one with an optional side curtain airbag for the driver and rear passenger, and one without. These vehicles are rated separately, except that the structural ratings for both vehicles are based on both tests. Beginning with 2008 models, optional side airbags designed to protect drivers' and front passengers' torsos were added to the optional side curtain airbags previously available; therefore the earlier test ratings with optional side airbags no longer apply to cars built after the 2007 model year. All About Angel Tattoos

The Angel is a spiritual being created by God. The word angel comes from a Greek word meaning "messenger" or "one who is sent." Angles have been depicted throughout history as God's messengers and soldiers. They delivered His word and carried out His punishments upon mankind.

History

Angels also serve as the guardians of individuals and nations. The world's three biggest religions (Christianity, Judaism, and Islam) mention Angels throughout their holy texts. The Angels are viewed as the link between Heaven and Earth and believed to be a gift from God for our safety, protection and guidance.

In many ways, the Angels are depicted as winged creatures hovering over the earth to provide protection against evil elements against mankind.

Guardian Angels

Guardian angels are believed to be the protectors of humanity in times of crisis. These guardian angels are often shown holding or watching over the children.

In fact, David Beckham, the England captain and star footballer (soccer player) said in his recent autobiography, about the significance of his Angel tattoo on his upper back, "I like the feeling that my sons are with me even when I'm away from home. And not just in my heart. I had their names tattooed on my back after each one was born. There's a guardian angel there, too, looking after them both."

Archangels

The Archangels are the seven Angels that stood before God in the Revelations. These Angels are the closest to God in the heavenly order. The Archangels are the divine messengers between the humans and God. They are the battlers of the Sons of Darkness. The most famous of the seven Archangels is Michael. Michael is believed to have led the battle against Lucifer (another Archangel) in the great rebellion. Michael is usually depicted in body armor, holding a large sword, with wings out swept in readiness.

Cherubs

Cherubs are the bringer of love. A good example is Cupid uses his bow and arrow to shoot through the hearts of unwarned people which makes them fall in love with one another. This is why an arrow through the heart usually accompanies these angel tattoos. Frequently, the name of a loved one is also added to the Cupid tattoo.

Fallen Angels

Fallen angels are symbolic of the epic battle between God and Lucifer, symbolizing a fall from Grace. Believers in the Judeo-Christian theology say that when Lucifer and his army of the dark angels were defeated and thrown out of Heaven, these angels were said to have fallen into the burning depth of the earth.

The typical fallen Angel tattoo usually pictured as a menacing looking angel, with a bloody sword in his hand. Other fallen angels are depicted with torn or injured wings, or even with horns. These angel tattoos frequently use a darker, heavier ink to make the design seem more foreboding. Fallen angels are popular with Goths and bikers in particular, as well as those who are devotees of Satan and the dark arts.

Popularity

Angel tattoos are among the most popular tattoo designs for men and women alike. Angel tattoos are attractive because they represent peace, beauty, good sense, exemplary morals, and spirituality.

An angel tattoo on a woman signifies that she looks inward towards her soul to find her purest sense of self. She is divine and often patient, and her presence is a gift. She protects herself but also others, and finds that sometimes beauty lies in confidence. And the wearer of the angel tattoo has the belief she does not settle for something less and goes where she is needed

For a man, an angel tattoo can be symbolic of many things. Men who wear angel tattoos are often very fond of women. They often choose a sexy angel to represent their masculinity. These men choose angel tattoos to announce that they have an woman who is the Angel in their life. It is a popular choice for men who feel strongly about a particular woman, though that is not always the case. Most commonly worn on true bad boys and cowboys, the men who have them will swear by these tattoos, saying that they help them pick up women.

Celebrities

  • Drew Barrymore is tattooed with her own personal gallery of body art. One of her tattoo is an Angel.
  • Alyssa Milano from the T.V. Series, "Charmed," has a tattoo with Angels in her designs.
  • Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit has several different tattoo images including an Angel.
  • Amy Wesson, a supermodel has an Angel tattoo on her lower back

Angel tattoos are thought to reflect the wearer's personal relationship with God, whether it is solid or estranged, so be sure to choose your design with care!

Helmets - Part of the Safety Equation When Go Karting

With the advent of the automobile and the motorcycle and even sports such as football the helmet has emerged as a safety device to protect obviously the whole head and a brain there-with encased.

With the advent of safety legislation which started to occur in the late 60s and early 70s we as a people sought to legislate our safety. What I mean by legislate is that we write a law punishing people who do not protect themselves when they are doing risky behavior such as riding motorcycles or wearing seat belts in a car. The idea behind that is that they are encouraging people to protect themselves.

To me the seat belt and the helmet are good ideas (actually great ideas) but legislating them into use is not, in my opinion, the smartest thing or the most effective way to get people to protect themselves.

That aside seat belts and helmets are by themselves just tools designed to protect the body from becoming damaged during a collision incident. As far as go carts are concerned helmets are a good idea. There are problems with helmets, however, especially with open face helmets in that they only protect the head.

There are also different versions of helmets the most unprotected version being the open faced helmet. The open face helmet, having a downside in that the face can actually get smashed or damaged during a collision. My recommendation is a helmet that is fully enclosed.

If we are talking about helmets you might as well have other safety equipment as well. The safety equipment I am talking about are: seat belts, roll cages, gloves, go kart suit, special shoes, Hans device, rib protectors, and special cushioning in impact areas.

The helmet is only one component to the safety equipment package, from a go karting perspective. Racing go carts for example are lightweight and designed to not hold the driver in the go kart. The go kart is designed to separate from the driver so that the relative inertial masses reduce and the speed of the driver and the go kart slow down quicker. The downside to this separation is that the go kart can actually hit the driver, or the driver can be pinned underneath the go kart during the tumble.

Racing go carters understand this and therefore have padding and have it taken into account the way to the drive the go cart in order to keep the risks lower. Also the relative speed of the go cart has to be taken into consideration because the higher the speed , the higher the impact, the higher the risk of serious injury.

If you are considering taking up go karting or four wheeling or any other motor sport having adequate safety equipment is a smart idea. Having grown up in a household with a doctor, I was forbidden to ride motorcycles, snowmobiles, four wheelers, and obviously go carts were discouraged. I was shocked however when my father, a doctor was considering buying a motorcycle. And he told me about the injuries that he had seen in the emergency room and how if they had worn simple safety equipment the injuries would have been much less.

I remember the simple injury of not wearing shoes while riding a bike. One of our neighbors had lost the bottom of this foot in the spokesof the wheel. My dad had to sew the bottom of this foot back on and we were told obviously, that wearing shoes was a requirement for riding a bike. Additional safety equipment being used for motorcycles in his opinion was leather, heavy boots, heavy gloves, and a helmet (a full enclosed helmet).

His reasoning for the heavy leather, heavy boots, fully enclosed helmet, was a survivability of the accident. What he had seen was motorcycle riders who had been flung off the motorcycle and had skated along the road. We have all heard the term road rash, road rash can be reduced drastically, by wearing heavy leather or heavy clothing.

The heavy clothing, similar to a fully enclosed helmet, wears down on their pavement or acts as a insulator or shield from the ground. The simple graphic of a belt sander wearing away wood is sufficient to get the point across.

Helmets have a twofold function, 1.) It shields the head from an impact, 2.) It keeps her head shielded from abrasive injury. And finally, a helmet can actually act as an enemy especially in high speed collisions.

We are all familiar with the high-speed crash of Dale Ernhardt. What occurred in that collision is that car suddenly stopped, but his helmet did not. To be more accurate his helmet and his head did not stop and so his head actually tried to separate from his neck. The Hans device however is designed to hold back the helmet and ahead from accelerating forward with such force that actually can sever the head. It is also designed for whiplash, and side-lash and helps support the head from a rear collision and side collision inertial effects.

The grim reality of helmets and the reason for seatbelts and safety equipment needs to be understood. Go karts need to be driven accordingly.

- You cannot be reckless
- You cannot go over jumps
- You cannot purposefully roll your go kart, and expect to actually get out of the situation without being harmed.

Helmets cannot save you from stupidity.

We tried to legislate safety and we try to legislate good behavior by what it really comes down to is it requires us as individuals to be smart and responsible about what we do and how we act. Helmets are just a smart thing to do.

American Football Pads: Here's What You Need To Know

Anyone that has participated in the sport understands the critical importance of American football pads. Whether it is a tiny little wide receiver who wants to outrun his adversary, or the beefy lineman who would rather obliterate his opposition, the American football pads (sometimes referred to as shoulder pads) are one and only thing standing between these guys and fractured shoulders!

But there are literally hundreds of American football pads on the market. Which item is the correct pad for you?

This write-up was created as a guide to help you render a wiser decision. As a public service, I have accumulated 7 crucial items of information.

American Football Pads: An Overview:

The shoulder pad is in fact a tough plastic external shell that includes a multiple layer, shock-absorbing cushioning beneath. As the name suggests, they guard the shoulders from potential traumatic injury. Additionally they play a role in safeguarding the chest and rib area, and they are anchored with several snaps and buckles. For comfort, a shoulder pads cushioning of foam rubber is often worn underneath the pad.

American Football Pads: Shock Distribution:

As the players clash, a significant amount of force is employed. These pads do a terrific job of disbursing the shock throughout a larger area so there is much less pressure at the point of impact.

American Football Pads: Shock Absorption:

For any force of the impact that cannot be distributed, these pads are developed to soak up the majority of the impact through deformation. The pads on the shoulders are strung on tight webbing and deform on impact.

American Football Pads By Position:

The Quarterback:

These position players want the unattainable combination of agility and protection on their own American football pads. Pads for any quarterback are light-weight and provide freedom of motion.

The Linemen:

Pads for linemen are created to minimize the amount of flaps and epaulets, hence reducing the grabbing and holding opportunities presented to their adversaries.

Linebacker/Fullback:

These positions ought to wear a cut-away shell style that will offer a little flexibility and a little less protection in comparison to a linesman's pads.

Other Skilled Positions:

These individuals rely more on speed than the other players, and so ought to choose a pad that includes a design for lower profile, more mobility and less bulk. Not surprisingly their goal on the gridiron is to generally avoid confrontation by outrunning the other guys.

Conclusion:

There are additional considerations to bear in mind when looking for protective gear for you, your team, or your family member. Depending on the player's body type, or when there are wounded body parts to consider, you might want to consider some of the varied custom fitted choices. Examples consist of spine and rib protectors.

I hope you found this article to be appealing to you. Being familiar with this crucial information will help all players improve their use of American football pads!

Accident Claim for Horse Riding Injury

Horse Riding is seen as a lovely relaxing sport, with many children starting horse riding when there 4 or 5. People often don't realise the weight and power of horse's even small young ones. In America alone there are over 30 million people riding horses every year and 2,300 under the age of 25 are injured every year and need hospital treatment.

Horses are heavy creatures and can weigh up to 1,500 pounds and can be as high as 3 metres tall. There are different kinds of horse riding from jumping, cross-country, stock work to pleasure riding. In jumping and cross-country the horses can travel as fast as 30mph and you're on the back no straps just sitting on the saddle holding onto the ropes.

The most common way to injury yourself on a horse is to fall off, of course this can be very serious. Other ways are that of the horse bucking and throwing you off, you may be lucky and get thrown into some bushes but then you may not and you may become lodged in your stirrups and then get dragged along by the horse. Horse riding accidents don't just happen whilst out on the horse, they also happen when someone's handling, feeding or grooming the horse as some horses may be domesticated but no horse is 100% safe.

If you're an inexperienced horse rider you should always tell the instructor, many instructors will then offer you one to one instruction. If you go out on a hack you may have someone holding your horse as well as yourself to keep the horse under control.

For safety reasons all horse riders should wear a hard shell helmet that is securely fastened and in good condition to protect your head if you have an accident. Fitted boots and nonskid gloves should be worn as well as fitted trousers and top. Before you venture out all your equipment should be checked and your stirrup positioned correctly for you. Many centres are now encouraging people to use body protecting gear including the body protector which protects your ribs and soft tissues if you fall and the rest of your chest.

The most common injuries in horse riding are:

o Wrist, Elbow and Shoulder Injuries

o Knee, Ankle and Foot Injuries

o Spinal Injuries

o Bruises, Sprains and Strains

o Broken Bones and Dislocations

o Head Injuries and Concussion - this is the injury which causes the most deaths

If you've fell of a horse, been kicked by a horse, trodden on by a horse whatever the situation if the accident wasn't your fault and you believe you were given the correct training, right equipment you have a legal and civil right to claim compensation.

If you think you can't afford to make a compensation claim then use a company who work on a No Win No Fee basis. This means you don't have to pay a penny in legal fees. If your case is successful you will receive the full compensation payout, your solicitor will claim their costs from the other party's insurance. If your case is unsuccessful you still don't have to pay a penny, so what are you waiting for, don't suffer in silence claim today!!

Conan Ori's first time in a racing kart, age 3

This was Cono's first time trying his racing kart and he did great. I turned the throttle way down to keep him safe and he had a blast. He'll be 4 in a month, but it's still amazing to me that he handled himself so well. He's wearing full body armor under the suit (chest protector, rib vest, neck brace under helmet, etc.) and while he did bounce off of a couple of plastic walls (see other video), he really got the hang of it!

Authentic Tribal Art

Tribal tattoos have a lot of appeal because they represent the tribes of the early ancestors where all of these body art originated. During that time, tattoos were meant as status symbol or a passage for the coming of adulthood. Some of the most authentic tribal styles are the Polynesian, Maori, Hawaiian and Samoan tribal tattoos. Easy to Make Halloween Costumes

Halloween costume and mask ideas are limited only by your imagination. Just open the door to your closet and you probably already have many Halloween costumes!

Making a Halloween costume is not difficult, and most everyone can put together an original outfit just by using items they already have on hand. Or, if you're looking for something you don't already have, maybe it is waiting for you at a local thrift store.

Here's some easy to make costume ideas, and most likely you'll have many more of your own.

Gypsy:

Transforming into a gypsy is fun and easy! Layer two or three skirts in the funkiest colors, top with a peasant blouse and lots of clunky jewelry. Big earrings, long sparkling necklaces, stack on the rings, and layer the bracelets! A pair of bright colored and embellished sandals are good choices, too. Tie a scarf or bandanna (skull-fashion) around your head and out the door you go!

Guys can create the gypsy-look by wearing loose-fitting pants that are tucked into boots, an unbuttoned shirt to reveal several gold necklaces, and a colorful vest. Tie a scarf around the waist and another around your head. And, one hoop earring is fantastic for guys!

Tourist:

Who doesn't have a Hawaiian or colorful island-themed shirt in the back of their closet? Add a pair of Bermuda shorts, sandals with socks (of course), straw hat trimmed with beer cans or big flowers, and hang a camera (or two) around your neck. Be sure to tuck some travel brochures, maps and ticket stubs in your shirt and pants pockets and you are good to go!

Nerd:

Now, here's the easiest costume ever. Wear a pair of pants that too short and come above your ankles. Button your shirt all the way up, pull your pants up too high (like just below the bottom of your rib cage). Be sure to wear white socks and dorky tie-shoes. Stick one of those plastic pocket protectors in your shirt pocket, grease-up your hair with gel to make it extra-geeky, and add a couple fake zits. Now how easy is that!

But, not everyone is happy with a thrown together, hodge-podge kind of costume. Not everyone has the time to make their own costumes for themselves and their entire family. Halloween screams for bright colors, scary outfits, ghoulish masks, and cartoon characters. There are costumes that are sexy, scary, cute, and devilish. They come in sizes to fit plus-size adults, kids costumes, men, babies, and pets.

This is where shopping online is a time saver. Hundreds of Halloween costumes, masks, accessories and decorations are available online, and many are not available in your local stores. Movie and Disney characters are easy to find online, plus adorable costumes for babies and kids. Of course, the traditional devilish, ghoulish and scary costumes are easy to find. And, without the hassle of running all around town only to be disappointed by not finding the exact costume you or your kids are wanting.

Whatever you decide to be this Halloween, shop for costume fabrics that are fire-retardant, comfortable, easy on and off, and have adequate ventilation. When buying a mask be sure the wearer can eat or drink without having to remove it, and that it has generous eye openings to allow for good visibility. Be safe and have a Happy Halloween!

Tattoo Designs For Men - Tips and Ideas For Sexy Tattoos For Guys

A lot of guys resort to tattoos to express their personality; mostly to show their manhood and sexy side. In this article, we will be discussing various tattoo designs as well as body locations that look great and appealing on men when inked beautifully by a talented tat artist.

Koi fish is a very popular choice for men because of the symbolism attached to it. It's originally a significant symbol in Japanese culture and can mean good luck. It also represents courage, endurance and strength. Dragon is another strong tat design as it represents power, domination, freedom and good luck as well. Fallen angel, archangels and guardian angels can also look very sexy on men because they can make them look like their protectors and guardians of peace. Another idea is flowers;nowadays, they are not just for women, men are finding them equally attractive as well. Examples are lotus, cherry blossoms, rose and hibiscus. Of course, old school designs will always be around - tribal art, skulls, pinup girl, anchor and cross.

When it comes to how sexy or interesting a tattoo can be, it is not just about the art or design. It also has a lot to do with body locations. Chest is a favored location by most men as it is a huge body area that can have a lot of room for intricate and detailed designs. Same goes for rib and back areas. They can be great location to create an impressive and amazing piece of body art. These tattoos can only be flaunted by them when they are shirtless or half-naked; so there goes the daring and "chick-magnet" part of it.

Tattoo Designs For Women - Sexy, Cute and Feminine Tattoos For Women

Tattoo designs for women should be expressive and significant enough to highlight the natural's subtlety and beauty of the female's body. After all, women resort to tattoos to define a part of their personality and exude their charm and sexuality. Therefore, careful planning and forethought should be exerted when planning what tattoo designs to go for.

Whatever tat image a woman go for, it will be forever a definition of a part of her personality. If she wants to express it right, she should get something that has significance and personal meaning to her. Here are some of the most popular and favored tattoo designs that women usually go for.

Flower Tattoos
Flowers are beautiful and perhaps, one of nature's best gift. With their aesthetic appeal and deep symbolical meaning, it is no surprise that they usually end up tattooed on a woman's skin. Some of the most popular floral tats are cherry blossoms, lotus, lilies and roses. For a more tropical flair, Hawaiian flower tattoos like hibiscus, plumeria and orchid are preferred.

Butterfly Tattoos
Butterflies have colorful hues and interesting shapes not to mention the symbolical meaning attached to them. They signify change, transformation and new life which are all aspects in life that women can relate to. The loveliness of the butterfly plus the profound representation they possess made them a classic tattoo design among women.

Stars
Stars are perhaps one of the oldest symbols and women love them because of their simplicity and flexibility. They can literally be tattooed anywhere on the body and still look great and interesting. They are rendered on the skin either as a lone star, group of stars and the very popular shooting star tattoos.

Fairy and Angel
Fairies are fun, mythical creatures that seem to be a symbol for women as being carefree, naughty and free. Their magical powers and fantasy allure not to mention their exquisite appearance are the very reasons why fairy tattoos are very much a favorite tat theme among women. Angels on the other hand are seen as guardians and protectors so they definitely symbolize that notion whenever a woman has it tattooed on her body. The angel wings tattoo, on the other hand are commonly inked on a woman's back and supposedly represent the desire to fly.

Animals and Insects
There are several animals that can be commonly seen tattooed on a woman's body. They are usually the ones that are tame and not so wild that men usually go for. Birds like swallow and sparrow are hit among women. Fish and dolphin are friendly animal creatures that women love to be tattooed on their body. Insects like lady bug and especially dragonflies are also favored by women because of their interesting colors and significant meaning.

When it comes to locations of tattoos, there are also top favorites among women depending on their design of choice. For small and simple tat, the foot, ankle and wrist are favorite locations. For intricate and detailed tattoo designs, the rib cage, back, shoulder blade and lower stomach are the choice tattoo locations for women

Cuisinart TOB-175 Broiler Convection Toaster Oven Review

If you suffered with your previous oven such as had to toast longer, caught on fire for years, burnt toast, not evenly toasting, and other annoying features, you can read this review of Cuisinart TOB-175 Broiler Convection Toaster Oven as your consideration. About the Toaster Oven

o Consumer Reports rated it as the best Toaster over.

o User friendly designed so everybody can use

o It's durable. There are people have used it more than five years so it's well worth the price.

o Three years guarantee.

o Keep your kitchen cool though used in the summer (hot weather) without the air conditioner. I found, only one said that her kitchen got hot after cooking.

o The fan is smooth quiet.

o No plastic parts to warp from the heat. Speed up Cooking Time

o It heats up in a quarter of the time than the regular oven does. Only takes 3 minutes to pre-heat to 450 degrees.

o It baked frozen fish about half time as regular oven, four large potatoes only 45 minutes and two pounds meatloaf within 90 minutes.

o Quick for a par baked loaf of bread and no need to flip the bread to toast both sides. Save the Cost of Natural Gas Bills and Electricity

o Much more energy efficient than firing up a full size oven

o Note: keep the oven unplugged when it's not in use. Toaster Oven Functions

o You can use it for making cinnamon rolls, roasting peppers, green beans, butternut squash, biscuits, frozen lasagna, a rib roast, pork roasts, asparagus, pies, chocolate chip cookies, frozen mac & cheese.

o Baking bread, burgers, cakes, fish (including salmon), sliced potatoes, pasta dishes, chicken dishes, brownies.

o Toasting (frozen) bread, pop-tarts, English muffins, pizzas, sandwiches, TV dinners, nuts, small casseroles and daily toast/bagels.

o Broiling steak, chicken breasts, fish (including salmon), brownies or small vegetable dishes.

o Toast comes out perfect, sometimes it can be uneven but there are people don't care much about it. Also controlling the darkness of toast is easy.

o Suggestion: Food browns faster towards the back, so rotate the cookie pan or pies once (turn it so the back is at the front.) It doesn't matter when cooking meats. Convection Mode

o The convection feature defrosted and warmed frozen packaged foods as well as leftover ham without drying it out. It heats up quickly and evenly.

o The convection oven powers through the cooking cycle. It's simple to learn how to use.

o When cooking a variety of casseroles, they will be cooked evenly and are not burned on top even though the heating element is closer than a regular oven.

o For those who don't know about convection, you should be able to decrease the temp and/or amount of cooking time due the convection. Best success with the convection feature by reducing the recipes (or instructions) recommended temperature by 25%, and reducing the baking time by 25-30%. Crumb tray

o It is opened from the back with smooth and quiet. It's not difficult to do and easily overlooked due to the overall quality of this model. However, please try it by yourself.

o To clean it easily: Pulls out the crumb tray so you can wash it instead of the ones tilt and you have to carry them over to the sink and try to shake them out. You can wash the crumb tray through the dishwasher and comes out perfectly clean. Size

o It holds a medium-sized cast iron frying pan, a 6-cup muffin pan, 10" pie plate, etc.

o It does everything as well as 600-buck full size stove, in smaller amounts so you don't need a separate toaster.

o It's perfect size for small meetings. It fits in small spaces and works as well as full size oven.

o It will be a great size for a family of two or single person cooking.However, please check the size by your self. Temperature and Timer Settings

o Set your desired digital set temperature with the aid of a timer if you chose to use it. It's easy to use, you just need to enter the cooking time by pressing the minute key.

o The timer tone will beep constantly when completed until it's tended. It's a great reminder. Then to shut-off press the OFF button.

o Some people enjoy its loud timer tone. However, you should check the volume by yourself. I think it should have a tone volume control. Electronic controls

o The electronic controls work well, easy to use and simple to master even there are people that not require the manual.

o The smooth push button control panel is also easy to wipe clean (no knobs to deal with). Rack

o Rack is easy to install front programs quite simple, clean, smooth quiet.

o When baking or cooking different things, you can figure out at what level to place the rack.

o When placing the rack in the middle, the toast comes out almost perfect (it's a little lighter on the bottom).

o The rack tends to slide out when pulling out trays from the oven, so just be careful. Broiler Pan

o The broiler pan isn't flimsy, cleans beautifully.

o If you have difficulty to clean the interior and broiler pans, the solution is, use a spray on non-stick coating. Glass window and door

o Glass window wipes clean with a damp cloth, and the outside has stayed white not yellowish.

o To keep the window stays clear and without streaks: use a diluted solution of dawn, and rinse well and dry leaving no residue, or chemical smell.

o The door is smooth quiet. If you hard to clean under the door, the solution is, fold a paper towel, spray it with all-purpose cleaner and thread it through the bottom of the door then move the towel back and forth. The crumbs go all over the counter, but it gets that area clean. RecipesSome people wish the company could give a few more variation recipes in the instruction book. Hope my review will help you to find your best toaster oven.

Tips for Buying Go Kart Safety Gear

Go karting is the most accessible form of motor racing and is a popular sport for people of all ages, experience and budgets. However, if you want to pursue the sport at a competitive level you need to invest in quality go kart parts and accessories. Even for having a go kart hobby or using it for fun, it is vitally important that you purchase safety gear. In spite of the relatively low speeds of go kart racing compared to other motor sports, go karts are still dangerous and accidents do occur. Karts can travel up to 60mph and are very open and exposed with minimal built-in safety devices. It is therefore crucial that you are adequately protected.

Helmet

The first thing that needs to be bought is a helmet which is undeniably the most essential piece of motor racing safety gear. You will be required to wear one even for practising at your local go kart club. Cheaper helmets are made of fibreglass, while a higher quality one for competitions to give greater crash protection is made of carbon fibre. There is also the option of full-faced or open-faced design. Open-faced helmets are more comfortable and give better driver visibility but they obviously provide less protection for the face. It is a matter of personal preference but some competitions only allow drivers to wear full-faced helmets. Those who engage in professional go kart racing may desire and be required to wear a helmet with a HANS (Head and Neck Support) device. This forces the impact during a crash into the chest muscles and away from the neck in order to prevent whiplash and minimize serious neck injury.

Race Suit

With the possibility of accidents in go kart racing you need to purchase a race suit to help protect yourself from injury. These suits are made from flame-resistant material such as nomex to protect from burns should fuel in your go kart ignite in a crash. They also protect the ribs and chest against impact. It is advisable to buy a higher quality race suit which will offer greater protection and last longer than a cheaper version. It is also very important that the race suit fits properly.

Gloves

Karting gloves protect the hands from the normal blisters and abrasions that occur when racing and also help protect them from damage in case of accident. Gloves also absorb sweat, thereby improving the driver's grip on the steering wheel and making the ride much more comfortable.

Boots

A go kart driver should invest in a pair of high quality boots as most accidents occur due to incorrect or insufficient footwear. Boots should be light and have mesh panels to provide ventilation. Thin anti-slip soles are best in order to have good pedal contact and grip. You can also purchase oil and fuel resistant overshoes to slip on over your boots in wet conditions.

Additional Gear

There are additional go kart parts that provide extra safety. Some karters wear a neck brace to avoid their head moving too much. This can take the form of a foam ring or a more complex restraint. Others, especially children, will often wear rib protectors, as well as knee and elbow pads.

Go karting is a thoroughly enjoyable sport but remember it carries risks and there is nothing more important than ensuring your safety.

Hollow Wood SUP Project End of Day 6.MP4

Stand Up Paddle Board Project inspired by jevers123 vids...watch all his vid's, they are great work and a lot of effort went into the production. I preferred his approach to the parallel profile method I used on a small board I am building for my son, but just personal preference both are good methods in my opinion. This video is the end of 6 days of active work on project... plan to complete in 5 weeks if possible for an upcoming beach trip. Board is 10' long x 32" wide x 5.5 " thick through most of length with slight thinning on rocker at front of board... has to hold up a bit more weight :) I plan to fish from it in Texas lakes/rivers/streams near my house and wanted stability (thus the width and depth increase) but will also be in the Gulf cruising around in the surf. So, will add some cargo netting fasteners and other mounting points, over time I may add an attachable outrigger mod with small sail and kayak attachments like a seat, tackle, and pole holder. So, will add a couple extra support areas between ribs for future attachment points but this will add 4-5 lbs to weight. Wood used so far is is Cedar from Lowes: 5 cedar2x4's x 8' $6 each 3 1"x6" x8' $8-12 each 1 1"x8"x12' $25 2 bottles Tightbond wood glue $6-7 each Still deciding on top/bottom decking. Great excuse to spend several hundred on new tools and you can never have too many clamps ;0) TIP #1: I pre cut additional stringer suppors with the ribs clamped together on a table saw, that helped quite a bit ...

Crash Test 2000 - Discontinued Saturn L 300 Series (Side Impact) Impact

Saturn L Series 2002-05models SIDE IMPACT TEST WITH STANDARD SIDE AIRBAGS OVERALL EVALUATION: Poor Injury measures Head protection Structure/safety cage Head/neck Torso Pelvis/leg Driver Good Poor Poor Poor Poor Rear passenger Good Good Good Good Important: Side impact crash test ratings can be compared across vehicle type and weight categories. Test details: The Saturn L Series was introduced in the 2000 model year. Side curtain airbags for drivers' and front and rear outboard passengers' heads were made optional on 2001 models and standard beginning with 2002 models. The L Series was discontinued after a limited number of 2005 models were manufactured. Injury measures: Driver — Measures taken from the dummy indicate that rib fractures and/or internal organ injuries plus a fracture of the pelvis would be likely in a crash of this severity. In addition, loading to the shoulder was excessive. Rear passenger — Measures taken from the dummy indicate a low risk of any significant injuries in a crash of this severity. Head protection: Driver — The dummy's head brushed past the side curtain airbag and was hit by the intruding barrier. This impact did not produce high head injury measures, but head hits with intruding objects such as other vehicles, trees, and poles should be prevented. Rear passenger — The dummy's head was protected from impact with any hard structures, including the intruding barrier, by a side curtain airbag that deployed from the roof.

Crash Test 2010 - 20** Nissan Micra / March (Full Test) EuroNcap

Adult occupant The passenger compartment remained stable in the frontal impact. Dummy readings indicated good protection of the knees and femurs of the front seat occupants. However, structures in the dashboard posed a risk of injury to occupants of different sizes and to those sat in different positions and protection for the knee/femur/pelvis body region was rated as marginal. In the side barrier impact, protection of most body regions was rated as good. Dummy readings for the chest were also good but the car was penalised for loading the dummy in an unrealistic way, and the protection was rated as fair. In the more sever side pole test, dummy readings of rib deflection indicated marginal protection of the chest. Protection of the neck against whiplash injuries in the event of a rear-end collision was rated as marginal. Child occupant Forward movement of the 3 year dummy, sat in a forward facing restraint, was not excessive. In the side impact, both the 3 year and the 18 month dummies were properly contained within the protective shells of their restraints. The passenger airbag can be disabled by means of a switch, allowing a rearward facing restraint to be used in that seating position. However, information provided to the driver regarding the status of the airbag is not sufficiently clear. The dangers of using a child seat in that seat without first disabling the airbag are clearly indicated on labels in the car. Pedestrian The bumper scored maximum points for the ...

Injury measures: Driver — Measures taken from the dummy indicate that a fracture of the pelvis would be possible in a crash of this severity. The risk of significant injuries to other body regions is low. Rear passenger — Measures taken from the dummy indicate that rib fractures and/or internal organ injuries would be possible in a crash of this severity. In addition, loading to the shoulder was excessive. COLT PYTHON 357 MAGNUM 4" BLUE

The Colt Python was officially introduced in 1955 as Colt's top-of the-line revolver. It was Originally intended to be a large frame, double action (DA), .38 Special target revolver, but at the last minute the chambering was changed to .357 Magnum. This fortuitous decision resulted in what is arguably the best all-around handgun in the world. Almost immediately the Python gained a reputation as the premium American revolver. It is built on a .41 caliber size frame for extra durability. The action is fitted and hand-honed in the Colt Custom Shop to insure superior fit, smoothness, and a good trigger pull. The Python has many special features. Like all Colt revolvers, the cylinder rotates into the frame for an extremely tight lock-up. The Python barrel has a ventilated rib on top and a full length underlug. Inside, Python barrels are bored with a very slight, full length, taper toward the muzzle for superior accuracy. All Pythons come with excellent adjustable sights. The front sight is pinned to the full-length ramp atop the ventilated rib so that it can be changed (at the factory or by a gunsmith) if desired. The rear sight is an Accro target sight. These sights are durable and very accurate. The full-length lug beneath the barrel was originally hollowed-out. Colt soon began leaving the underlug solid. Even the finish on the Python is superior. Colt's Royal Blue is the ultimate polished blue finish for steel guns. No other blued production revolver can compare to the ...

Japanese Dragon Tattoos - Tips for Finding the Perfect Japanese Dragon Tattoo

Don't get Japanese Dragon Tattoos until you read this. After reading this short article, you will be more well informed and able to make a better choice when selecting your Design.

Let's begin. The dragon has long been an important symbol in Japanese mythology. The Japanese dragon is a fascinating creature with the head of a camel, eyes of a hare, horns of a deer, scales of a carp, paws of a tiger, and claws of an eagle. Additionally, Japanese dragons also commonly have long whiskers and a jewel under its chin.

Many people are attracted to the allure of these mystical creatures, but few people truly know what they symbolize. Japanese dragons, like their Chinese counterparts, are distinct from Western dragons. Whereas in Western culture they are depicted as evil and malevolent, dragons in Japanese Mythology are viewed as guardians of the imperial families. For this reason, many people chose the Japanese dragon to serve as a guardian and protector. In Japan, a dragon is normally called "Ryu" (You might recall Ryu from Street Fighter). These mythical beasts command a high level of respect since it is believed that the first emperor of Japan was descended from a dragon. In Japan, these creatures are also viewed as gods of lighting and thunder.

Popular locations for Japanese dragon tattoos include full back and upper arm designs. For upper arm designs, the dragon typically wraps around the arm, with the head extending onto the chest or back region. This however should not limit your decision on where to place this tattoo. The style and location of your design should be personal and unique, as these factors will ultimately determine the meaning of your tattoo.

If you're looking for really cool Japanese dragon tattoos, I highly recommend you check out the internet's largest tattoo gallery at www.chopper-tattoos.net

Test details: The Dodge Stratus and Chrysler Sebring were redesigned for the 2001 model year. When side airbags are optional, as in these vehicles, the Institute conducts the test without this option. If a manufacturer offering optional side airbags requests the Institute to conduct an additional test of a vehicle with this option and agrees to reimburse the cost of the vehicle, a second test is conducted. DaimlerChrysler did not request such a test. Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria #46 - Palace of the Venerated Dragon (5)

Boss time! Boss is against the Dragon Zombie. Setup for this fight would be Flame Baselard, as well as attacks with Holy or Fire Properties. As for Skills: Unholy Purifier and Zweihander or Dragon Slayer, since the Dragon is Giant and Dragon. Plus, this is the 3rd time fighting it. First time, forgot to use Double Check. Second time, battle wasn't going accordingky, so I decided to get a Game Over. This time, I used Double Check, but this time, I didn't get it in 2 turns like last time. First off, the Dragon will be powerful. To weaken it, go for the 3 Orbs (each has 1000 HP) located around the room. You can tell by looking at the floor. 2 are behind a wall (500 HP), while 1 is behind the Dragon. After destroying the Orbs, the Dragon will weaken significantly. Now for attacking the Dragon: you can go for the Core, which has a small amount of HP, and it is a vital part. But...you have to go through the head and neck area. Its body is also a vital area, and is easier to take out. Restore AP by going around it. Dragon Zombeh attacks: Dark Displacement is annoying. Long range, and inflicts Poison. Insanity Eye, which inflicts Confusion, and hurts. Foul Stench inflicts Fraility, and is powerful. Maleficent Harm is its Great Magic. Earth elemental, and hits everyone! I let it slipped in since I couldn't defeat it in 2 turns like last time. It wasn't that dangerous to me. Kicks in when HP is below half, usually around near death or so. Items of interest: Attack the tail for ...
