Crash Test 2005 - 2009 Subaru Legacy (Frontal Offset) 2005 (Side Impact) IIHS
Subaru Legacy 2005-09models FRONTAL OFFSET TEST OVERALL EVALUATION: Structure/safety cage Injury measures Restraints/dummy kinematics Head/neck Chest Leg/foot, left Leg/foot, right Important: Frontal crash test ratings can be compared only among vehicles of similar weight. Good Acceptable Marginal Poor Test details: The Subaru Legacy was redesigned for the 2005 model year. The frontal offset crash test ratings also apply to the station wagon version of the Legacy for the 2005-07 model years (the Legacy wagon was discontinued after 2007). However, the ratings do not apply to Outback models. Restraints/dummy kinematics — Dummy movement was well controlled. During rebound, the dummy's head hit the roof rail, grab handle, and sun visor. Injury measures — Measures taken from the dummy indicate a low risk of any significant injuries in a crash of this severity. Head accelerations from the roof rail, grab handle, and sun visor hits were low. Subaru Legacy 2005 models SIDE IMPACT TEST WITH STANDARD SIDE AIRBAGS OVERALL EVALUATION: Injury measures Head protection Structure/safety cage Head/neck Torso Pelvis/leg Driver Rear passenger Important: Side impact crash test ratings can be compared across vehicle type and weight categories. Crash Test 2006 - 2009 Mercedes Benz R - Class mfg. Before September 2008 (Side Impact) IIHS
Mercedes R class 2007-09models SIDE IMPACT TEST WITH STANDARD SIDE AIRBAGS OVERALL EVALUATION: Acceptable Injury measures Head protection Structure/safety cage Head/neck Torso Pelvis/leg Driver Good Marginal Good Good Acceptable Rear passenger Good Good Good Good Important: Side impact crash test ratings can be compared across vehicle type and weight categories. Test details: The Mercedes R class was introduced in the 2006 model year. Beginning with 2007 models, side torso airbags were made standard for second row seat occupants (they were optional in 2006 models). Two tests of the R class were conducted because in the first test, the airbag warning lamp remained illuminated prior to the test, indicating a possible airbag malfunction. Mercedes diagnostics indicated the fault was confined to the second row right torso airbag, opposite the rear dummy's seating position. Nevertheless, the second test was conducted to determine if the airbag fault warning influenced the results. The second test (without a fault warning) produced very similar injury measures, which confirm the validity of the first test. Therefore, all ratings are based on averaged results from both tests. Injury measures: Driver — Measures taken from the dummies in the two tests, taken together, indicate that rib fractures would be possible in a crash of this severity. The risk of significant injuries to other body regions is low. Rear passenger — Measures taken from the dummy in both tests indicate a low ...

Crash Test 2011 - 20** Lexus CT200h (Full Test) EuroNcap
Comments Adult occupant The passenger compartment of the CT200h remained stable in the frontal impact. Knee airbags for the driver and passenger provided good protection to the knees and femurs. Lexus were able to show that a similar level of protection would be provided to occupants of different sizes and to those sat in different seating positions. Maximum points were scored in the side barrier impact, with all body regions being well protected. In the more severe side pole impact, chest protection was rated as marginal, based on dummy readings of rib deflections. Protection against whiplash injuries in the event of a rear-end collision was rated as good. Child occupant In the dynamic tests, the CT200h scored well for its protetion of both the 3 year and 18 month dummies. The front passenger airbag can be disabled to allow a rearward-facing restraint to be used safely in that seating position. Information on the switch and in the dashboard provided clear indication to the driver about the status of the airbag and the system was rewarded by Euro NCAP. Pedestrian The bumper provided good protection to pedestrians' legs, scoring maximum points in Euro NCAP's tests. However, the front edge of the bonnet was poor in nearly all of the areas tested. In most areas likely to be struck by the head of a child the bonnet offered a good level of protection but, while good in places, was rated as poor or marginal in most areas where an adult's head might strike. Safety assist ...

Empty Hand Basic Fighting Stance
A video demonstrating how to get into a basic fighting stance. This particular fighting stance can be seen in various types of mixed martial arts and kick boxing. The body is oriented in a bladed position and the hands are raised in a high guard, both aspects contribute greatly to one's defensive capabilities. Make sure that your elbows are aimed downwards to ensure that your rib cage is adequately defended. Your fists should be at about the height of your cheek bones, allowing excellent protection of your head/mid section area and allowing clear vision. Train hard, and be safe, my friends :)

Oblivion 4x1 [3/7 MM]
2+ comments for more (it wouldn't be bad if you post more) Enjoy! --- "I'm in need for popcorns, be right back." Audrey sweetly whispered before exiting the cinema room and rushing out of the building itself. There was something about cinemas that made Audrey sick to the stomach. She never really liked them, she preferred the comftyness of her own bed. Even though her house was a place she wanted to stay away at the moment. Or ever, truthfully. She sighed and leaned against the wall, sticking her head into her jeans pocket and pulling out a stack of cigarettes. It all started around her fourteenth birthday when her own mother, her flesh and blood, had missed her birthday. Since then, Audrey smokes. She light it and brought it to her lips before sucking in the dangerous gas. She let the taste stay in her mouth for a second or so before she parted her lip and let the smoke escape into the street. "I hate flicks." Whispering to herself, she took another puff of the content. "That makes the two of us." Audrey sharply turned her head left, watching a boy watch her with an amusing grin on his face. Quickly she threw the cigarette and stepped onto it, smearing it's contents into the street's sidewalk. "Then what are you doing here?" "You know, I could ask you the same question." He pushed his fingers deeper inside his front jeans pockets. She laughed."Audrey." She swung her arm upwards. He chuckled before taking two tiny steps and engulfing her tiny hand into his own. Electrical ...

Crash Test 2010 - 20** Jaguar XF (Full Test) EuroNcap
Adult occupant The passenger compartment remained stable in the frontal impact. Dummy readings indicated good protection of the knees and femurs of the front seat occupants. However, structures in the dashboard posed a risk of injury to occupants of different sizes and to those sat in different positions and protection for the knee/femur/pelvis body region was rated as marginal. Maximum points were scored in the side impact barrier test, all parts of the body being well protected. In the more severe side pole impact, rib deflections in the dummy indicated weak protection of the chest. The seat and head restraint provided marginal protection against whiplash injuries in the event of a rear end collision. Child occupant In the frontal impact, movement of the head of the 3 year dummy, sat in a forward facing restraint, was not excessive. In the side impact, both dummies were properly contained within the protective shells of their restraints. The front passenger airbag cannot be disabled to allow a rearward facing child restraint to be used in that seating position. The labels warning of the dangers of using a rearward facing restraint in that seating position were not sufficiently clear. The restraint of the 18 month dummy had instruction and warning labels which were not permanently attached and points were lost as a result. Pedestrian The XF is equipped with an active bonnet. When sensors in the bumper detect that a pedestrian has been struck, an airbag system lifts the ...
